At Finca Rio Alto Apiary we are starting out with five colonies of honey bees. As you can see they are thriving and the population is growing fast. We hope to have our first honey harvest within the next two months and grow things from there. Beekeeping is an interesting and rewarding activity and we look foward to expanding this part of the operation in the near future.
